Excelent.

Why do so many people critise's Runescape...I dont get it at all :-/
Weather you like it or not, its no more childish then any other MMORPG out their.
Personaly, Runescape seems to be an older crowd, precisely because it hasnt got flash graphics or such you tend to get a dedicated gamer who thus tends to be older.

It takes more patents and time to get into then most, sure.
But people that say "NO ONE WANTS RUNESCAPE ONLY THOSE little silly basterds whos 8-10 years OLD!" and stuff like that are only shown their own childishness up.

This is an excelent animation, nice detail, good music and well put together.

Great story, rythem and style.

I couldnt help thinking it would make a cool game somehow (I mean, a proper released game, not mearly a newgrounds flash one)...would have to be in the exact same style though.
I dont think Cell-Shadeing is advanced enough to emulate hand drawn stuff yet ;)

Excelent and huge amount of work here.
I found it enjoyable, dispite knowing the films inside and out.

Still, critisms about the music I have to agree with.
Even the best tunes get annoying after awhile.
Dosnt nesscerly need voice acting, but purhapes sounds and more varience.
Seeing as its in a cartoon style, maybe "nonsense" sounds for people talking. (evey played the game banjo kazooie?).

I liked the subtle filter you put over it btw, not many seem to have noticed it.
The content was spot on. Where you did use styliseing, or special cuts/frameing it worked well...you should have used more.

It is valid what others have said too though...maybe you should have added stuff not in the films.
Tricky to do that while remaining faithfull...but maybe you could show stuff that could have happened off-camera in the films.
(ie, extended cuts....or extending the film slightly before and after the beging and end to add stuff seamlessly)

Minor techical error:
Near the end you do a focus effect on marty...its good but you can see the "frame".
Its the only error in the whole thing I can see.

Overall an excelent tribute!
If you ever get the energy to do part 2, then my advice is just be a little bit more confident. Its possible to add more while being true to the plot and spirit.

[3D Melee Weapon(*Update*)]

Ok, makeing simple 3D objects and exporting into flash rotations really isnt that hard. (Swift3D?)
The weapon designs are ok, looked very Runescape-ish, in fact.
As a flash file i think some more ideas could focus this.

Eg,
1. make it neater..weapons go off the left a bit. Centralise them in there own box. (Wooden bevel effect? PSP can do this quite easily)

2. Make the instruction text at the bottom smaller and box it too.
3. How about having a third box, on the right side next to the weapon that contains information on the weapon?
Description, what it for, whatever....anything would help.
4. simple backgrounds for the weapon.
5. menu with list of weapons so you can jump to the one you want to look at.
6. More weapons (this will always be true though :p)
Ok, mostly its presentation that needs to be improved. Keep up the good work.

I thought the "against the odds" fighting in "Hero" was extream, but this takes it to new levels!
Fluid animation, and imagative too.

And of course, you have to be biased in order to make fun of someone dont you? [roll eyes]

Of course, i *am* biased to like this stuff.
Because personaly i think both Bush AND Moore are f'cking morons, who both lie and distort the truth for their own ends.
