Meh-ish

To be honest, I didnt find it that funny at all,and turned it off half way.
However, the voice acting was actualy pretty resonable.

You shouldnt be blamed for doing a dub, mindyou.

TomaMoto responds:

To each his own, I guess. Note that there's only so much flexibility when you're trying to both fit the lip flaps and establish some sort of coherent dialog.

Great, but not as great

I didnt find this s funny as the last...something to do with music and timing i think.
Animation was vastely better...the rotoscopeing worked well.
I liked the monty python esq foot, and the continueing discworld-theory :p

CapnBob responds:

It's definitely a bit less silly and random than the first, and to some people that'll make it less funny. That's just the nature of the beast.

Excelent prequal

Very nicely done, very atmospheric and with good voiceover work too.
Seems to get more glory each time you make one too :D

Purhapes you overdid it with the world "evil", but well, everything else story wise seems fine.

oh, and 2 GIG??!?!
O_o

Get-lost responds:

Haha thanks Thomas!

Yes 2GB and growing

Ok, its an advert..

..and I didnt find it funny.

But..War on Terror? O_O
Some people are utterly,utterly insane.

Scorer responds:

Very true!

You did it again!

Another absolutely fantasic, fantasic bit of animation work.
Concept and exacution, and perfectly done music!

Please, put your work in high quality on google video!
(video (dot) google (dot) com )

You could be the next speliberg maybe...but more likely the next Nick Park, or John Lasater.

You pack more entertainment into a few short minutes, then most programs do in an hour. If you charged for watching your work, Id pay!

Dustball responds:

Are you hiring? Sign me up!

Still great.

Still fantastic, but I wish you would put a high quality one up somewhre. Google Video is free, you know ;)

This animation should get you employment in most high level studios i would have thought.

Dustball responds:

I should probably do that - the Google video thing. I wish I'd get employment doing this stuff!

so the SP one out of the DS and PSP?

This did kinda suck :-/

But to be fair, your not a totaly useless animator..I can see you went to effort in parts of it, then got bored, then tried a bit again.

A few tips:
*Dont use photobackgrounds...looks out of place with cartoony stuff. (if you must use photos, use Flash's convert tool to make it vector, by playing with the settings you can make photos look a bit cartoony)

*When people walk, have the background scroll

*When you get bored, stop animating, and come back to it later.

As far as your ideas go, its fine; Too big reboots fighting as handhelds. (ironic really).

You just need to be a bit more specific with ideas.
Think:
What would a DS rebots strengths be?
Would it go around pooking the PSP with a stylus and then try to snap its head of with its hinge?

What would the PSP's strengths be?
Would it have blinding backlights and try to blind the DS ?
Or what it use its l33t graphics to confuse it.
Or maybe it shoots UMD discs :D

Theres plenty of ideas if you just made the robots more like the consoles.

The-Mobile-sponge responds:

Thanks for the help, unlike alot of these biased reviews, it's good to see a few actually give me some constructive critisism.

Great but you left one thing out

That Alien Hominod looks like a pokemon!
Add a Pikachu Cross fade..clearly related!

RazorHawk responds:

Bright yellow color, shiny black eyes, hey, you got a point there!

Great work,

Great work :D

You should send a copy (or link) to these guys:

This is actualy a large cult ("Collective" they call it, but its a cult), that sets out to do random acts of kindness to complete strangers every friday.
Danny Wallace founded it and theres a funny book about how it was formed.

Send this to them and they would get a huge kick out of it.

BADMAN responds:

That's funny. I might.

stunning

very slick,if violent, animation.

I thought the "against the odds" fighting in "Hero" was extream, but this takes it to new levels!
Fluid animation, and imagative too.

great work!

Get-lost responds:

Thanks a lot darky ;)
